Tommy Johnson sr sells gps units for trailers. You set up a geofence wherever it's parked and it will text your phone if it leaves the area. You can also track it on the Internet. No monthly fee you end up paying a small fee every time it alerts you or you track it. Gives me a sense of security, especially when the car is loaded in the trailer before leaving for a race!

A wireless home security system that uses cellphone modem is also a solution.
