Paul, what are your thoughts on using any of the '62 thru '64 B-body convertibles with the 383 - 413 - 426 wedge or max-wedge engines available...how about using a '64 Plymouth Belvedere convertible, or would a sedan or hardtop be a better choice...I've always liked something that looks a bit different.

I see alot of good choices here. I am also considering getting into Stock, but would need to do so on a budget. I have a 1989 Chrysler 5th Avenue. Would this be a reasonable choice or not? I think they were built from 84 to 89. They are cheap to buy and have a 5.2 V-8 and rear wheel drive. The Dakota option sounds great also.

I cant help you guys that are thinking about trying it out with combos or any of that stuff. But what I can tell you is what has been said a bunch of times on this site. BUY one dont build one. If I had just wrote the check instead of trying to build one I would a have already been running a long time ago. Instead I just pulled my car out of Body Shop prison number 2 on monday.

Max Wedges are expensive to build and run and then you have to contend with the dreaded new cars.

I've been looking at the '64/'65 426/365 combination but Bob Mazzolini thinks the 383 would be a better choice
