While you are at it, decide who pays if the driver wrecks the car, and can he sue you if a part like a tie rod breaks. It is amazing how quickly friends become adversaries.

When I drove the dragster,the owner paid entry fees,then if anything was won,the pot was split after entry fees were taken out for him. It sounds like a gravey deal,but there was self imposed pressure at times when I drove the car. Always discuss this before you even load the car up to go to the track!
