Mark, do you know anyone who still does "converters" for Dualrange Hydros?
I'm building a 324 Olds for my '49 Ford and want to keep the Hydro.

Tom, I haven't researched any of that stuff yet.
Mine works okay for now.
If the Hydro craps out , I'll probably change the engine to a 400 anyway..
Can't bolt a 350 C or 200 4 R to the early engine.. I'm sure I can build one of those for a lot less than than the Hydramatic.
After you get used to the modern transmissions , the old ones aren't that much fun..in my opinion.

My daily driver is a 2001 Monte carloe with 145000 miles. Gets 29 miles to galon on highway. I put 60000 on a year.
My wifes driver is a 2008 Corvett Convertable.

Mark, wow and I'll leave at that. Probably has twenty Hyundais in weight alone and gets twenty miles plus. Nice car.
Ed, what are you hiding under the tempo, a station wagon? Should be nice when finish, dog dish hubcaps and 440/6. Claude

My daily driver...towed the Pinto all the way to Belle Rose last March with a 15.52 dial on the truck and a 15.65 dial on the race car...probably the only person there who had a tow vehicle quicker than the race car it was towing...

2011 F-150 with the new 5.0, has run 15.30 at 90 mph and won me a wally at the National Dragster race in Sportsman class at Indy last year. Now if I could just win in one of my racecars instead of my street vehicles...
