You are very lucky! I can vouch for that. I had been racing with my dad "Corky Jordan" from as early as I can remember. We really started getting into NHRA racing in 1978 when he bought the ZOOOOOMER. This was the best time of my life. I really miss being with him but he is with my mother now. God bless them. Enjoy this time with your son, I know he is!

I'm still going strong. First raced at Pomona with a flag man in '58. I don't know if it's more fun now, but I can afford it more.

My dad's first race car was built in 1965 and every time it was hooked to a homemade tow bar, an eager 7yr boy was ready to go! I have been hooked ever since. Dad will be 80 early next year and still has the desire and fever. Unfortunately his back will not allow him to drive, however he saw his grandson get behind the wheel this summer. It was really a special time to see the making of a 3rd generation drag racer!
