The car I was playing with was an 85 2.5/120/113 car. It is a natural V/SA that can make W. The car has a "stupid computer" in it that you can make do what you want it to. It has a pretty big throttlebody and the heads and intake look good. Biggest problem would be the transaxle. The best final drive that you can get from the factory is a 3.73. I've heard that there's someone in upstate N.Y. that might make yoy a 4.10. Yac can make you a converter and even do the trans for you. 4 cyl car has got enough room that you can make your own headers. Find the shortest slicks that you can (or even drag radials?) and it would probably do much better than index. It would hook in a carwash.
I think in hindsight that it could be a fun little car and would probably run well. I probably didn't give it much of a chance as I really didn't like the "disconected" feel that I got while driving it.

I'm wondering how long it will be before somebody mentions Larry Morgan.

In any case, "huge Fiero guys" fit in 'em just fine. I've handed this guy, (Fred Guljas), multiple 260+ mph timeslips over the past decade.

As soon as I started reading this thread, I flashed back to Larry Morgan's Fiero Comp car, but back to the question, it would be a neat car, gotta run at least decent

good luck with the fiero project . we bought an 88' off the showroom floor in 89'. if you need basic parts, try the fiero store in stafford ct. www.fierostore.com. some performance parts and restoration parts. good people to deal with.
