It's 24'. I think I can build a mount underneath and put the fairlead in the floor. Minimal tripping hazard. I was concerned about the pulling capacity of the winch. Knowing it is pulling a rolling vehicle, I was thinking one of the bigger ATV winches might suffice. Now, I think I better spend a few more dollars and get a bigger one.

Thanks again for the advice!

Jeff, this is my old trailer and what you could see of the winch fairlead, and the remote. The steel deck is much thinner than the floor of your enclosed. As it probably has 3/4" to 1" plywood. The thickness of the floor may recess the fairlead even more. This would keep the tripping hazard down to just the hook when the car is not in the trailer.

I have a 24' Pace which was built to my spec. Bought a 3500 lb Superwinch that has the control on the side so couldn't bolt it to the factory floor plate because it was too far forward and under the cabinets. Just bolted through the plywood floor and haven't ever had a problem. I'll take a couple pictures and post in a few days. For a straight line pull I'd advise at least a 3500 lb winch for your car.
