We ran our corvette in the early 80,s I will see if I can gather some pictures up to get posted , It was a powder blue and white car Dunlap-Lobb -Stohm -McHugh on the side with Griner transmission-Converters on it . Long time Div. 1 olds racer Ron McHugh owened the car . I think The car ended up going to Minnisota later.....

The only older (1962 and earlier) 'Vette I can remember in recent time were the Abbazia brothers from Connecticut. Ran D/S and E/S with a '61, pretty sure it was a fuelie. It had quite a bit of HP taken off (much more than they asked for) and was a killer D/S car, 10.50's I think. Other than that, most Vettes of that era seemed to run Modified/Gas classes back in the day (before I was born, sadly). Robert Brinkman has a GORGEOUS '61 as a SS/CM from New Jersey nowadays. Most S/SS Corvettes now seem to be '63-'67 and '68-'73 style(s). Good luck with your project Wade, as I LOVE any car that is a departure from the norm (Not a Camaro, not a jellybean car, etc).
