Joe Fasano might know the answer to where that car is. He knew those guys pretty well I think from conversations we have had recently.

Frank,
1962 Corvette (#2925 lbs.) No optional cove 'two-tone paint', the triple accent body molding was removed and replaced with a black finish, and the grille was changed to a black finish. A more 'subtle' finish for 1962. First year for the 327. 327/340 HP............8.60 Wt/Hp * 1965 = A/S * 1966 = B/S * 1967 = A/S * 1968 = B/S * 1969 = C/S * 1970 = D/S * 1971 = D/S * 1972 = SS/F 327/300 HP............9.75 Wt/Hp * 1965 = B/S * 1966 = C/S * 1967 = B/S * 1968 = D/S * 1969 = E/S * 1970 = F/S * 1971 = F/S * 1972 = SS/H 327/250 HP.............11.70 Wt/Hp * 1965 = D/S * 1966 = E/S * 1967 = D/S * 1968 = H/S * 1969 = I/S * 1970 = J/S * 1971 = J/S * 1972 = SS/L The 1962 Corvette, was not as successful at the Drag Strip as the 1961 Corvette. The 327/250 HP combination was the 'Best-of the-Three' |
