The picture of the wagon says Milan, but I would swear that is marion county international raceway. Did that car ever race there?

Terry you are correct, that was the 1st AHRA national when Marion was built.Track was barely finished.Lost to Mary Ann Foss in eliminations.

I was only 5 when the track was built. Dad was one of the original racers there. He was there racing the AHRA Grand Nationals in '71.

I raced there last summer at the 5th annual funny car nationals it was an old school track had a great time will be going back next year.

This is the ex-Strickler '64 SS Hemi car. One of 3 '64 Dodges Strick had.
