I don't claim to. I know what those cars can do. Would your old car would go a buck twenty under? You can now.

I am not sure what your problem is and this conversation isn't going anywhere good, so I am going to bow out. Maybe we can have a real conversation at a race track one day. Peace.

I understand they will need some changes to keep up with the CJs but they need to be at the track to determine what changes it takes. I thought form the start that they probably wouldn't have the trans/converter exactly dialed in, and it looks like it will take wheel tubs for the Super Stockers. Both of those items could have been worked out long before now. I would assume the camshaft timing could be improved, as I'm not sure how detailed Chevy got on testing various valve timings and induction tuning, and sometimes that combo needs to be different than what you find on the dyno to launch a converter car correctly. Chevrolet did a great job with the original engine packages but now they have to hit the track often to tweak and change/modify. Just my opinion.
I'm sort of disapointed that more aren't out there. just sayin'......... |

If I recall correctly, Paul had one of the first "on track" videos of a COPO, way back in August. I was on vacation in St. Thomas when I found it on the internet,,, shouldn't be too hard to find it. It might possibly be the only black COPO out there that's actually racing.

$90k prox gets you a Powerglide transmission in one of these new cars.
I suppose traveling to Milford for a stick version will afford one a Saginaw M15 three speed? Mercy, what a deal. |
