Can you use an alternate material to replace oe air cleaner duct? I'm working on a carbed turbo Buick and Id like to use the stock carb hat and stock air cleaner location up by the core support but the factory ducting is shot and there are no replacements. Can I use a different duct to connect them, like a dryer duct? Its not a ram air or cold air setup, just reattaching the OE parts...

What is the ID ? I have seen some pretty nice flex tubing that is used in marine applications for engine compartment ventilation etc. Might check a marine supplier ?
