There is no better q jet builder than Jim Boburka. If it was built by him it will have JBR stamped on it near the carb number.

My Carb has JBR stamped on it a few places..

Dick, my old intake has a angle on it but i havent tried that intake with this new combo, and i have not tried a angle spacer, my spacer on the car now is a 2 inch Mr. gasket, and a regular carb gasket, my other intake has a Moroso on it.... i have not tried the 4 hole but wondering what it would make in HP

Brandon, the only way to tell if one Q-jet is better than the other is to test them at the track. You can have the same carb builder build you 4 carbs and they are all goi g to vary within probably .08. It's all in finding a good core and the only way to know if its a good core is run it down the track.

I have ran both down the track plenty of times... I have just been told that they both need work and are pretty much stock cores... I see plenty of things that have been done to both carbs I am starting to wonder what else could be done if I see all these upgrades done to it but its still called pretty much stock... I put a Holley 750 on it last year at a bracket race off my stocker and it ran the same et as my quadrajet ran that day
