Here is the first batch of photos from today. I'm still trying to get the numbers for all the records.
The weather this weekend has been outstanding, I can not recall having such great weather conditions for a long time. We had temps in the high 60's, lots of sun with little wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. I am told they will run everything tomorrow. My next post will be Jack Matyas with the in car cam. I also have a nice pit cam of Jacks car. |

As you will see, as Jack's car goes into the wheelstand he unloads the tires. He still manages to go 9.60 at 138. I think his best run was 9.57 today.

This video is Joe Garbarine in his 05 Cavalier. Joe was running GT/IA, and set the record I think, at 9.82, I do know it was in the 80's.

Lots of happy faces at teardown - most were not done and I promise to get names and ET's tomorrow morning .And how about Gary Richards' C/SA ?His 10.09 is one thing but at 130 mph - WOW ! ! And he's on the pole - come to think about it - twice ? Stock and S/S - has that ever been done ? Everyone will have one last shot at knocking him off tomorrow morning .

Who decides who gets torn down and how are they picked? I have never heard of a teardown at an open. Are you racing for the purse only or is D1 some how able to get decal money paid at opens?
