Chuck, you are a wise man and a keen observer. Let's everybody fight. Old vs Old, New vs New, Old vs New, people with no car vs people with cars; no car vs no car. I need more beverages. I heard Jessee Kershaw was going to mediate this thing, but that could be not true.

I apologize for the Meathead remark, It was a joke, LOL. I understand he is in Alaska fishing and no phone service.

He is due back Monday or Tuesday according to his wife.

Hope everyone running the 390 Combos will take heed and keep your Q and E runs in line.

I am like everyone else and mixed up about thinking the Mustang and Fairlane are in the same box for figuring HP, just doesn't seem right. We need some .038 unders to help our cause.

Thanks

Rusty

The way I read the first couple of posts it appears to me the Fairlanes are grouped with the Comets and the Mustangs are grouped with the Cougars.
That would seem appropriate.

Just an FYI:

"Runs of .350 and slower are not included in calculating the engine or class/engine averages."

Santa brings all the good parts: cams , cranks , carbs, rods , heads, intake, horsepower lower than stock and then you bitch. Ink makes 'em fast and ink slows 'em down.

Mr Hill

No body was bit-hing, we were concerned about the average and getting HP. Its the same thing that Mark Faul did a couple of years ago with the 396 stocker combo. I did not hear you saying anything then. We are doing what anybody else would do, including yourself. I am not upset with the situation, just want everybody that runs a 390 in a Fairlane and Mustang to understand .

No need to blast us about something we never ask for. You would do the same I believe

Good Luck the rest of the year and we all appreciate what you and Patsy do with the reporting from the races.
