Is there a worse crash in S/SS, ever? That is one messed up 'Cuda and I would't be surprised if it was a real deal 'Cuda.
Locked the steering wheel turning the key off at 125 MPH on his first pass in the 'Cuda. What a moron!

Don't HAVE to be a moron to do that. I know a veteran racer who did that at Muncie Dragway in the 70's on the return road and ended up in a ditch. Back then most used the key to click it off as you know. Now its all toggle switches. Old habits die hard baby!

Also, remember that 1970 was the first year of the locking column. Said driver probably never even new it had it. Betcha the next car they built, had the locking pawl removed from the column.
