In stock, Gary Summers went 1.6 something under in his T/S Mustang and also set the record. My old car, 86 T-bird went 1.42 under and set the Q/SA record. The T-bird is now owned by Alan Mackin and huge congrats to him on the record. Other records in the tear down area yesterday were Tommy Turner, a SS/NA car that I don't know the name of. Gary Summers also had his SS car in tear down if I remember right. Colvert and Duzac have already been mentioned. 7 cars in tear down all together. We had great weather yesterday and a very well prepared track.

Congratulations to Matt Forbes and the entire Lucas Oil Crew for picking up the win in the Nitroplate SS/S Combo Shootout last night. It was an all Matt final with Matt Forbes defeating Matt Morris. It was an awesome race last night and a lot of fun with 97 cars running first round.

Sorry for the delay it was a long day yesterday.

Jim, me and George both had a great time at Bowling Green. Met many good Divsion THREE racers! The weather was good, much better than I expected. The last time I raced at Bowling Green was back a few years, It was in 1974! I loved it back then and we loved it over the weekend. It was just too bad Atlanta had a points race scheduled at the same time. Track operators really need to work a little closer with each other as it relates to scheduling. You know there would have been many racers who would have loved to race both events. The Division Three tech guys were heads on their game regarding their meticulous inspection of our car. I met some Quick Fuel guys who were very helpful, which made the trip even more enjoyable!
