I had some time in between rounds at the Divisional and National event at Las Vegas this year. I drove around and looked at the NASCAR track. I thought the stands were packed, but they were not racing. I went into the infield and looked at the stands. The seats are painted red, white, and blue in what looks like a random pattern, and there were no spectators.

They have that same pattern at the 4-Wides. I rolled in a day early and thought I was missing something. A brilliant idea it is. Tricksy!!
