I find it more ridiculous that you are allowed to modify the trunk floor for wheelie bar clearance on a Stocker ,but cannot slot the lower valance 2" !
They allow GT cars to be slotted because of clearance issues, but no other cars can . If the need for a slot exisits on one type of car , why not the others with similar clearance issues ?

I have a friend who has his vallance slotted for his wheelie bar. He had a discussion with NHRA tech about it and it was never brought up again.
Sounds like its time to get Chevrolet involved with a new superceeded part number for a real valance for exhaust cleanance that wheelie bars fit through. This is when NHRA can be a bit out of touch. |

We received the same letter for one of the cars. We were told at Virginia that the letter was coming and to fix it immediately. Jack, you and I spoke about the phone call you received 6 weeks ago stated that you could no longer notch the bumper and you stated that you have another you can easily put on. Your post may seem unclear to some as is seems to state that this is the first you are being told of them bumper issue. I am not supporting the decision of NHRA giving us 2 days to fix it from when we are formally notified but the fact remains, we were told about this months ago.

Just got to say that in the last few weeks of your postings, I have come to the conclusion your are the A-hole that everybody tells me you are. Why is it that you feel the need to try to pick fights on every racing related board you belong to? The track conditions at E-town thread really had me thinking you must be under the influence of powerful stuff. If you knew anything about Jack, you would know that he has known and worked with so many people that have worked for NHRA over the years. No reason to make sarcastic comments. You got a bone to pick with somebody? Take it up with them at the next race and spare us your BS. Hopefully someday, somebody will get in your face and see if your up to the task of telling them to their face the things you say on ClassRacer. I bet you don't have the balls to do it. I would tell you to go to YellowBullet and try your act there, but they can't stand you over there anymore than we can stand you over here. Your stuff is old and worn out on racing boards. Ever thought about just being civil? Too much too ask? I guess old habits are hard to break... |
