Im just trying to keep them out of my 1/4 panels... Im running a 94'' Pheonix bias, and have major rubbing issues, on the outer wheel lips...and theyve all been trimmed and rolled. Gettin tired of the rubbing, The problems arise, when im driving around, not at the top end. They grow, some, but dont seem to be into the body, at 120mph. Curious about the Pheonix 92'' Radial, and if anybody is using them......
brent, it seems to me you know the answer to your issue which is a different matter than your question. Over a year has past since you last asked about using/trying raidal slicks. It's obvious you want to try them, so do it, it's your $, your time and your car. Just know, not only do they require different air pressure from your bias slicks but also shock settings. Good luck.

What features make Radial Slick or Bias Ply better?

I have run both with not much comparable difference in performance.
Then again my car runs low 13's

Thanks 1320... as soon as i can free up some $, im goin to order a set...I know they work, i was just curious who was runnin' anything other than the Hoosier's, that seem to be so popular. Goodyear's seem to work well(Burton runs them), and some M/T's out there, as well... Im thinkin about the 92'' M/T, for 2 reasons. My car seemed to like the 9x28.5(90'') bias, real well, vs the 9x30bias(94'') and tire clearance was not an issue. So i figure the 92'' will work well, and dont see a problem with the 8.5'' tread, vs 9''.
