Joe is running his as a 72 350-200. Which is the same as the 71 350-250 engine other then I believe the intake. He has run very well with the combination as has John Gray. John recently built a 396 Camaro but his Nova was very fast. There is also someone in division three running this combination in a Nova but his name is escaping me at the moment.
I also have the same combination. Mine is a pretty new car only have about 12 runs on it. I run mine as a 72 as well. So far I have run -.50. We are still working the bugs out. I also now have a metric in it and with some more tuning it should run -.70 -.80 on a normal day. Mine has decent pieces in it however, it is far from being state of the art with all the bells and whistles. I think it is a pretty good combination as a whole.

i run a 350/255 but mine is a 69 car works great,
a lot of other guys run the 350/255 in div 1, head # is 441

im not sure but the 300 is not the best out there

Demarzo is running the 350/200 as a 72

lots of great engine builders for this combo

i go to boucher's in Rowley mass, great to work with

The 69 & 70 combo 350/250 is rated at 230, the 72 350 is also rated at 230 but the carb is smaller on the 72 vs the 69 & 70. If you want to run the 2 barrel you should build the 69 or 70 due to carb size. We may run the 2 barrel with a '70 combo in the fall.

The other difference is the 72 combo runs a dish piston as oppossed to flat with notch piston in 69 & 70. The valve, lift are basically the same in all years. I run the 72 because of my idol Johnny Gray, his nova set the standard for the 71 & 72 combo's.

Also the 71 & 72 camaro is the same combination for HP family (I think). Bruce Noland had a very fast 72 camaro before he build the vette.

Hope it helps.
