WAY TO GO SCOTT (Ricky)!!
Watched Lucy and the girls go nuts when your win light came on!! Watching family/friends faces and expressions is one of my favorite parts of winning!! Keep it up out in Indy!! Will be checking the internet!!

Thanks to all for the words of congratulation. As you multi-time winners know (and I learned for the first time), the victory lap thru the pits after the 7th round isn't quite like it looks like at the end of the Daytona 500 ('cause everyone has gone home!) -- so it's nice to hear from many after the event.
Lucy and I (and the girls) were thrilled to win yesterday, and must extend our appreciation to our friends the Krugs, Sawyers, Dorrs, Gary and Paula for their support; Al and Jason Kenny for selling us a great car and providing invaluable tuning info; Johnny D for the quick weld job he did Fri nite; Kent Hanley for his wrenching help and racing advice (never knew what a "front dump" was 'til this weekend); and a special thanks to our secret weapon, Carol Kenny, for getting me in the groove thru all the tough rounds. See you all at E-town; we're doing Indy from our back porch via the Internet. srm P.S. -- hoping to announce shortly a racers' appreciation BBQ for Fri nite at E-town brought to you by your friends at General Motors and PC Richards; hope you'll all come and support us... it'll be the only thing at E-town that's free! |
