Putting a Chevy lifter in a Pontiac can cause the oil gallery to become exposed at the top of the lifter when the lifter is on the base circle and or the lifter oil groove to become exposed on the bottom side. I can’t remember which it is, it’s been a few years since I decided to see if Chevy ones would fit. I would just use the Sherman lifters. If you really want to use ceramics I have a used set. I quit using ceramics years ago.

I can ask them about that. I'm sure they can move the oil band if needed. They can probably make them taller, too. The price is reasonable enough that the upcharge would probably be as affordable as most anything custom.

I`m pretty sure the only difference between a Pontiac lifter and a Chevy is the placement of the oil band.It`s higher on a Pontiac lifter,you can get away with using a chevy lifter as long as the cam doesn`t have a small base circle.
