We're running Lucas Oil CLASS Eliminations for all Stock and Super Stock classes, with an Iron Tree trophy and a Lucas Oil product to every winner, so anything you guys can put together on your own, we're more than happy to advertise on the flyer -- something you can leverage in your quest for sponsors. The first print run of flyers is done, but we update the online version of the flyer right away whenever we add a new sponsor (www.looserocker.com/ncn) so the earlier someone makes a commitment, the more advertising they receive. We'll do another physical print run of flyers this winter, as there are a number of companies interested in the event, but work on a later budget cycle.

A big thank you to McLeod Clutches owner Paul Lee for your support of the SS/K Stick shift Shootout! McLeod Clutches is awarding the following gift certificates for the
SS/K Shootout at the Class Nationals

Winner 1000.00
R/U 500.00
Semi 250.00

Each competitor must display McLeod decal during the Shootout. Certificate can only be used towards McLeod products.

Thanks again to McLeod for your support

This race is getting more and more support. I hope all the K cars can make it next May. I'm going to try to put something together so all the competitors get something. Kinda like what Jim S is doing for the A/S A/SA shootout.

Thanks again to everyone who is supporting this Shootout!

On a lighter note compared to what else is going with my dad I wanted to post an update to this Shootout. I'm still working on getting more support for the race. Again thank you to Dean Oliver,Total Seal and McLeod for their support. As of now I have 3100.00 in product/gift certificates for the SS/K Shootout. I hope to get 10-12 cars there for this race. Right now I just hope to make the race. Cost is a big factor for me. I'll probably have to skip 3 or 4 races in D4 next year to make it but that's my problem. I need to be there. I told my dad he has to be there with me. That will make it all worth while if he is there with me. If you know anyone who can run SS/K that I don't have listed let them know about this race. I'll update again when I hear from other supporters of the race.Thanks. Ed

Thanks for all of your work on the SS/K Shootout, Ed! You've done a great job. As I've mentioned in another thread, I think will open the door for bigger and better things in the future. I've already had brewing in my head a Stick-Shift Only Combo shootout for 2015... why? Because *I* want to watch it!

Ed

In light of the news on your dad I will pledge $100 support in fuel money for you and your dad to attend this event. I will challenge all other members on this forum to do a similar pledge.

Contact me and let me know when you need the money.

My contact number is as follows
Mike Pearson
ssia2485@yahoo.com

On a side note. I pray that things go well for your dad in the near future. There have been great strides made in the cure for cancers in recent years. There is a real good chance your dad can beat this. In any event spend as much time with him as possible. I lost my dad a few years back and miss him horribly. He was a great man.

Best wishes
Mike

Great idea Mike, I'm in on that. Rolling from Texas is quite a trip. Now we just need someone to handle the details.
