John
For a cheap new generator the Hf 3200 id pretty good. There are some in the pits. There was an add in ND in the last months with a 20% off coupon. can't go wrong. Think it's around 60 dcbs. http://www.harborfreight.com/4000-wa...tor-69676.html For and inverter the BOLIY 3600 is good for under $1300. I have one and it has been very good and quiet. Or just go for the Honda Inverter. I have an extra weight distributing hitch setup complete but it's buried behind the Chevelle.

I have a Husky weight distribution hitch and 800 pound bars but afraid shipping would kill the deal (I'm south of Savannah, GA). Will likely drive to the Bristol points meet this weekend so if you know somebody going PM me and we can discuss price.
As for generators, for the sanity of yourself and anyone pitted near you get one of the inverter style, a Yamaha 2000 is less than $1000 on Amazon; if you're going to run AC then Yamaha's 3000 with boost is ~$2500 and has wheels for rolling out of the trailer. You can run these all night long without adding fuel or disturbing anyone.

Also look in your local "craigslist" under RV's or car parts to see
what is for sale.
