It is a crisp, cool morning here in Bristol. 55 degrees this morning. This weekend is looking great! BTW this is a Friday, Saturday race! So we should be finished by Sat. night. Highs in the 80s. lows at night in the 50s and sunny every day!

There isn't any movement here in stacking yet. We haven't seen any officials yet. As far as we know, the plans are still to start moving in at noon, then test and tune from 1-7. I will try to get some pics after we get moved in!

Frist of all thanks Larry and Patsy for the great reporting... I wish I was there with you this morning... I love Bristol in the fall.... Its still slow but same for everyone.... 50 sounds like great morning temps and 80's not too bad either.... Keep us informed as you always do and have a great time in "Thunder Valley".....

They started parking us about 11:30 this morning, so we are in, set up and enjoying the nice weather.

They have been testing and tuning all afternoon. Doesn't seem to be many testing at $100 each. If tracks would realize if they charged $50, they would probably get 3 to 4 times as many cars. But, oh well.

Tech closed at 6, but opens back up at 8 in the morning, I think. We run at 9 with Super Street first, Stock, SC, Super Stock, then SG.

We have found some good restaurants here. Mad Greek, Fishtales and Pigtales, and Fatz Café.

Lots of asphalt to park on. The track runs south to north and the pits are on the east side so everyone has afternoon shade when the sun starts down the mountain. Paula said there was 20 showers on the woman's side of the bath house and were very clean. Bristol is just a great looking track.
