Reminds me of a guy here in Arizona that owns several Hemi cars (and E-body Hemi convertibles). In his yard are numerous very rare muscle cars including 3 original Hemi A- body cars. They sit in the sun for decades. Will they ever get a restoration? I doubt it. Always seems to me such a waste to have a car sitting around doing nothing.
$140K for a '59 Cameo six cylinder truck? I'll bet there will be $50K on a restoration and you still have a six cylinder truck. Then I'll bet nobody would drive it for fear of achieving double digits on the odometer. The estate and auction house did very well on this!

The Cameo goes to Ohio to a Steve ?? big into Pontiacs. He said it would not be washed and sit in his collection just the way it is. Corvette stays in NE, 58 pickup went to Japan. There were families taking pic of there new car getting loaded on a trailer for its ride to its new home. Yes they had smiles on there faces. They tell me there was 15 to 20 thousand people on sat and many just showed up to be there with a Woodstock type of atmosphere. Everybody we talked to had a good time and were glad they came. It has been a long 4 days with my wife Karen and I putting in 20 hr days, but we met a lot of great people and made may new friends. Tom
