Nice Job Tom, Tibor and Blair! I got the chance to meet Tom and Tibor in Bowling Green last year when I was home on R&R and they are first class guys! Keep up the good work!

You fellers may get to know for sure tomorrow if the stars line up just right. Paul and Tibolt are both still in and on opposite sides of the ladder. A nice A/SA heads up final would pretty much settle it. I'd say neither one would leave anything on the table for the final round. The Ford went to the barn two weeks ago for random teardown, so at least that won't be an issue.

The 14 of us that were in A/SA had a blast. Everyone did there best to win that did not have an agenda. Bedford was the only one not to show for first round of class, he doped a valve and his weekend was over.
We had five 427 Chevys, one 402 Chevy, one 396 Chevy, one street hemi, one low compression Max wedge, two six packs, and three super stockers, all trying to win A/SA. I got to see John Cooper car, man is it a piece of quality work. Under the hood you cant see # 3 or #5 plug or the header bolts for those cylinders. Changing plugs has to be done after the valve cover is off, not an easy car to work on according to John. |

I concur about having a blast Larry...14 A/SA cars for class is a first for our team...And also a first for the class wally that has eluded Paul many years. The battles were fun and long but had not got er done till this race. Nobody works harder than Paul on the cars and I'm glad he finally got that class wally. And yes we were thinking about a heads up A/SA final...Next time!

Congrats to Paul Cannan. He had a great car and drove a great race to win the class and also to go several rounds in the Eliminator. That is alot harder than it looks, no matter what brand you work with.
