 Coming into Texas!  The black and white cows we remembered from our last trip! We have stopped for the night at a Walmart in Weatherford, OK. We have dropped in elevation 4000' since we left this morning! The weather has been great so far. They were calling for snow in parts of New Mexico tomorrow, so I am glad we missed it. It looks like we might run into some rain tomorrow in OK and ARK. More later. |

Well we are still "moving on down the road". This first picture is from OK for Mike and Paula in case they are missing the rain and the leaves changing colors.
 We stopped today for lunch at a rest area in Van Buren, Arkansas. Larry then remembered that is where Mopar guy Mr. Jim Hale lives. So he called him up and Jim invited us over to his place where we spent a couple of hours with him and Mrs. Mary. Really great people! Here are some pictures of Mrs. Mary's cabin that they built out of logs on their property. It is really cool and decorated with loads of antiques!     horse collar mirror |

The inside of the house and cabins were all decorated for fall.
 These are the shelves holding all the home-made goodies made by Mrs. Mary and her mother.      Oh, they are Arkansas Razorback fans! |
