I questioned the same thing about using my '87 TC in SS.

I think the general concensous was that any car listed in the classification guide was legal in SS, even if there were not 2 asteriks beside the h.p. number or a seperate SS column.

I am going to send an e-mail to NHRA tech to try to find out.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure the 87-88 TC body is legal in SS/GT with a V-8.
