To end the controversy the D4B is for the smaller bolt 273/4bbl motor. The LD4B is for the '66 273/4bbl that uses the modern LA motor heads. Both aluminum intakes have a CHRY part #. Must have the CHRY part # to be NHRA legal. The acceptance of the intakes was introduced by Chrysler/Mopar. What I don't understand from the info from NHRA is why they don't allow the LD4B on the '65 273/4bbl when you can use the swirl port 302 heads which are moderm LA design.
