I'll add to this thread with a question. How are guys controlling them? Manual 1/4 valve, electric valve with a pressure switch? What size line do you run from one? Thanks

I have the Moroso 3 quart with an electric valve. I have it wired into the ignition so when you turn it on, the oil is dumped into the system. I use a remote filter with #12 line. I think it is a great value/option to add to any race engine. No more dry starts and no loss of oil pressure after the finish line.

I have the 3/4 inch ball valve that comes with it so I can turn it off if I need to work on the system. For race operation, I have a solenoid valve in the -12 line and a switch on the dash that the driver turns on first, observes 20 psi on the oil pressure gage and fires the engine up. He then turns that switch off first before killing the engine. As mentioned above, you never start a dry engine this way. I love it.
