I can't believe one minute racers are wanting to get rid of all electronics in stock and the next minute they asking if e-shifts are going to be allowed.Seems like many are speaking with forked tongue! If two steps are a drivers aid I know automatic shift is also.To bad automatics couldn't be outlawed then we would have very few drivers that could actually drive and win.

Why not,,its a legit question??? if e shifts are going to remain legal then does Nhra allow other cars in the same class to E shift their cars??? its a good question,,,,not that Im personally for or against electric shifts,,,,,,,only question I asked is why is a "e shift" legal and the cheap dixie shifter isnt????

How about this for a novel approach. If the car came with an e-shift, it is legal, end of story. I could car less who has an e-shift car, turbo 350's have auto 1-2 shift, just pull 3rd gear. Stick cars are an anomaly.

Two steps should be foot activated to remove any doubt of cheating ( I repeat doubt) due to the length of some of the buttons. The stick cars need the 2-step for this to be fair, so let everyone have one if they wish on the pedal. The top races will make the adjustment and continue to win, just like with the changing of the deep staging rule.

I shift my B/SA car and do not use a 2-step, my choice. If you focus on your own program and stop worrying about who is in the other lane, who is using a 2-step, who has an e-shifter, who comes from a broken family, which school district failed us you may discover how good of a racer we all can be.

Amen brodders.
