For me it would be Rt 80 east to Rt 3....and yes it is very close to 17.
You can see the NY skyline (the big apple) from some areas. The Meadowlands......Secaucus.....Once a smelly landfill !!! LOL I don't go to NY often and have lived here all my life.....When I do I am still knocked out by the sights and the pace of NYC....
