Toms car was an Apollo with a 455 in the short lived Top Stock category in Division 3. WHile really fast, not an NHRA legal combo from an availabilitystandpoint as a factory car and the top stock rules allowed quite a number of parts NHRA does not allow. As an aside, Tom currently owns the Dave Benisek/Doug Jones "Factory"GS stage 1 racecar as well. I think the Jason Line car was the fastest full weight 455 GS I ever remember seeing-what a car!

Jason Line ran in the 10.30's in C/SA a few year back. That's the quickest Buick I've seen. I'd be curious to know what's the quickest pass by a real small block Buick. I know Chris Stephenson has been in the 11.40's.

The car that Alf Weibe/Jason Line drove is a very fast car. Low 10's by that heavy a car is impressive. My pick for fastest real Buick. I remember the Dave Benisek Buick that killed in class back then.

He has sold the Jones and Benisek Stage II car a few years ago. He still has the Silver Stage I Car that he won Top Stock at Norwalk Ohio. I think that car is for sale. It has been very fast. He has restored a Triple Black 455 GS with a four speed for the street. He is currently restoring a 66 Nova with a 327 4 Speed combination. Robin
