I have both door slammers and drag n brag and they are both very good games. Door slammers is for tuners as you can build engines and chassis. It is very customizable. Drag n brag is not customizable at all but you literally have to drive the car. Any movement of your phone or tablet moves the car left and right. You have to be very steady and it makes for an exciting game.

Both are ok. I prefer the Door Slammers app myself, but both have issues.
Neither comes close to topping the PC game IHRA Drag Racing or the Burnout series by Bethesda Softworks in the late 90's, early 2000's. Closest thing to "real" racing I've ever seen in a sim. Would be kind of cool to see something similar done with newer technology. I can't imagine it would be too difficult to expand on that architecture to be able to simulate Stock & SS classes.
