Good one Craig, my quick witted bowtie buddy. that race was actually a handicap start SR/B against Stock A.
I quess my comment: "What's wrong with the cuda in this picture?" wasn't a fair question to anyone other than a mopar freak like myself. If you look @ the hockey Stick stripe on it, the door piece of the decal is missing. ![]() My car was ordered new pretty much loaded. Kind of a strange deal considering it was going to be used as a race car. But it helps the bottom line when the dealer you order it from happens to be your fiances father that owned the said dealership. Anyway,. The car was delivered & it did not have the hockey stick stripe on it, but rather, those hideous vinyl door bump mouldings. Probably the only Hemicuda out there like that. for good reason too. The dealer ordered up a set of stripes for the quarter panels, but they never ordered up the set that continue onto the doors. The original owner left those vinyl mouldings on it when the dealer installed the Stripe. I peeled those mouldings off, NEVER to be reinstalled. The Stripe stays.... liteweight ![]() |

I have never seen those moldings on a hemi Cuda, it appeared to be an aftermarket set put on after delivery.
How could I pass up a chance to rib you about being a half car back to a Charger without mentioning the driver's abilities behind the wheel???

Factory installed not dealer installed. But you couldn't get the hockey stick with the "rubber baby bumper guards." Thus my comment about sumthin wrong with the cuda. I would be totally dissappointed if you couldn't get an occasional one in bud, Even tho it wasn't me behind the wheel @ the time. Not to worry tho.................................. heh,heh,heh,-----you know it'll be coming back your way, but the question you gotta ask yourself is-------------- when???? liteweight |
