A couple of highlights from what I've been able to see so far.
Chris Holbrook's new Cobra Jet is not only a work of art, it's now the sport's quickest Super Stocker with a 7.902 pass. Don Fezell was looking to back up his earlier 8.55 run in Class, but blew the tires off and still ran 7-tenths under Darren Poole Adams had his COPO on the back bumper for the better part of 200 feet. Hopefully the photogs got some good stuff. First round Factory Showdown up soon. |

Highlights from Round one Factory Showdown
G. Richard over Eakins, 8.61 to 9.47 B. Massengill redlights to Helms Barton spins on a single B. Skillman over Allegrucci 8.62 to 8.77 (nice run for the V10 Mopar) C. Holbrook 8.552 after Skinner is a no show. Last edited by Kevin McKenna; 03-13-2014 at 02:07 PM. |

Some nice runs in class! The only 1000' obvious run was Butner and Strickland.
You are correct that the factory showdown cars do not get horsepower for their runs! What a crock!! Also if there are any byes in eliminations, they get them all. I love the new cars, but they are super stockers! Put them where they belong! |
