You are correct sir, but are the new cars really comp cars? What classes in comp would they fit in? I'm asking because I do not know.

I don't think the "new" cars belong in Comp, but it needs to be figured out before too long. Didn't the new breed of cars begin in 2010 and here we are in 2014 still trying to figure them out?? With all the alphabet classes now being handed out ( see the "live fom the Gators 2014" thread or the thread about Chris Holbrook's 3 wally Thursday), something should be done before it gets any crazier??? I am not sure what the answer is, but maybe Bret Kepner can help with this. He seems to have a handle on class designations.

As most know, our family races the new cars. I do agree that there are some rules that need to addressed. There are some significant issues that are to be addressed trying to differntiate the classes. Let's bond as racers and come to an amicable solution...afterall, aren't we all members, not soldiers?

I think the factory race cars surfaced in 2008 and the older combinations realized there was a problem then, now [6] SIX years later it's even worse, because they are still getting faster and I think a few combination still have more potential, it's obvious when they won't run it out the back door even at a NO Ahfs race, so it can get crazier. Some of the older combos may be capable of better numbers but why risk getting HP and hurt yourself. I have to go slap my wife and then go next door and kick my neighbors dog!?#*%$+= Okay I feel better now, my friends tell me life is short, enjoy your time. Others will tell you that you have to work harder and spend more money on your junk. More and more new cars are showing up so a heads up race becomes more frequent and what really sucks is when you know you don't even have chance unless ?#*%$+= I'm going to take a sip of that KOOL AID shut up and go away.

I think it is one trigger per car at one race no matter how many one under runs by that one car

Some one please post the rule to correct me

I believe that this is a golden opportunity to generate a class that is attractive to spectators, that see the same new cars on the road....How about "Pro Factory Stock" keeping 3 classes....no tube chassis.....factory interior......Lots of restrictions so the class doesn't get out of hand like "Pro Stock". Personally, I believe that the new cars are good for our sport, but, let's not let them get out of hand with modifications.

Agreed!
Let the new SS become the new PS...get the manufacturers really involved...no aero adjustments!
