Ed, thank you for your response. The fact is I'm not making any hp and don't anticipate that reality changing any time soon. I have a very modest bracket racing effort. My original post was from a year ago and updated only to show the resolution was suspension bind.

Ed, sorry for the crappy response. I think your lack of fast sixty foot times is the result of converter and gear ratio. the tires are too short for a serious effort. I have seen 305 f bodies go 1.42 sixties with less than 350 horsepower. I'm glad you found your problem and wish you good luck,Lee.
