Both Stock and S/S got their first rounds in - Stock is in the lanes for rd2 .Many runouts in both .Marc LaBrecque broke an engine in the waterbox.Chris Butcher couldn't make the first round call .Several others couldn't stay for today ..........

I have a question about setting a record at a national open. It apears that runs during test / tune before the race can count towards a record. Is this correct.

Good news - the rains have stopped - the Sun is out and they may be able to finish tonight if another storm doesn't come along .Second round of S/S is in .
More good news - Our own RV expert Marc La Brecque didn't hurt his motor as bad as earlier thought - damage might be limited to valvetrain parts .On the other side of the coin is Dave Casey who also suffered damage in his first round matchup-maybe he'll be lucky also .
