Neil, you just hit the nail on the head. Someone gets in touch with a buddy at Chrysler, Ford or whoever, demands that these parts be included because someone asked them to with no regard for the rules. The manufacturers really don't care what the rules are and NHRA bends over to keep the sponsorship dollars flowing.
