Production 200/200-C have a one piece casting for the pump cover and stator shaft. Is there an aftermarket company that makes a pump cover with a pressed in stator shaft ?

Thank you for the responses guys. Looks like I will pull the tranny this weekend. I won't feel good until I at least have a look.
Steve, I will call tonight after work. Thanks

I should also let you guys know I changed from C12 to Sunoco purple without any jetting or tuning. Maybe I have messed up my tune?
Thanks again

I'm curious, that sounds like a fair amount of work why not just convert to a 350 front? Is it not stronger? Or is that a lot more work than making the shaft?
