Why not go to Sealy, TX. A really nice 1/8 track. They have a system that might work: there are colored lights atop the tower. You can enter two different brackets and buy back in both brackets. You can run yourself in the final. A few years back, my son beat the same guy 3 times in one night. When your color is up, go race. When your second color is up, go race again. Winners run each other. Pretty simple really.

Hey Joe Cool, I have the answer. First round loser of the Redemption Race of course.

Personally, I choose to heal my wounds with food and beverages as soon as I become from competitor to spectator.

The buy back concept feels like you lost a double header.
