Wow, I was there and remember that weekend well. Along with setting the first NHRA 200mph AA/FD record of 7.78 201.34 he raced Norm Weekly for Drag News #1 Fuel spot who was driving the Frantic Four (Weekly, Rivero, Fox & Holding ) AA/FD. George Hurst and Ray Brock (editor Hot Hod magazine ) were there to watch the record run.
