The few photos are a thank you to the Cook Brother's. I don't usually post photos of me or my car, but the Cook's work so hard to get their Cobra Jet to Indy. They just finished it on last Saturday and we went to Numidia Raceway in Pennsylvania to test on Sunday and it was a disaster. They took the car home and fixed the issues and off we went to Indy, not knowing if we would even make it down the track. With only one run on the new combo it was a gamble.

Every run was a test run, and even though we did not do well in the Factory Showdown we learned allot and had a blast just being part of it. Thanks guys, you gave me a ride I will never forget.

On another note and some thoughts about Indy. I was feeling pretty low about us even qualifying, but after talking to so many racers telling the issues that they were having, it put things in perspective. Lots folks were in the same boat as us trying to qualify and win there class. A last minute thrash before Indy seemed like it was the norm, everyone had a story.

Getting to Indy is a big deal, weather you have a shot at qualifying seems not to matter, what matters is being here. The crowds were amazing with the stands full. Even before the pros ran, there must have been 10,000 fans in the stands to watch the Hemi Shootout and Factory Stock Showdown in the early rounds.

I had a great time and can't wait for next Indy.

If I get any more info or photos, I will be sure to post. Thanks everyone for supporting Class Racer, it means more than you all know.

That's a great looking car, Ken. The trials and tribulations racers face make the real champions work harder. Best of luck in the future.

A little late in asking this question (sorta like my last reaction time) ... In post 262 video of Chris Holbrook's run, he does his burnout and then flips two switches/two lights go on and he makes his run. What is he doing?
Just curious...trying to learn something that in all likelihood will end up costing me more money.

Being supercharged it would have to be either the primary intercooler pump and a fan or a secondary pump and fan. Super Charged cars need Ice water since so much heat is made. Our Super Charged COPO leaves the line at 100 deg IAT and crosses stripe at 175....If I forgot to turn it on before the burnout or at all I would be in big trouble and if the computer did't compensate 20% of fuel it would probably burn a piston. But in my case it would just SLOW down a ton. There was also plenty of talk regarding tank sizes, what is legal, what is not and its pretty much a cluster f''k from the West to East coast of what is allowed and what is not.

Mr Gary Richard going some rounds! Great to see. He is not a customer and we don't talk much but I respect him for all the support he gives to Div 1, the great racecars he has, the excellent drivers he lets run them all the time, and his crews hard work at the track. Maybe we will see a full size wally at Englishtown in a few days! If Gary doesn't have it then Tom could be right there to collect.

Likely one is to engage the 2 step.
