with those heads your talking about you also get weight and horspower.....If i read it correctly

Yes,you are right, 5 horsepower.

I guess this isn't such a good combo after all.

I think Edelbrock sells some Oldsmobile heads. Maybe you should write NHRA and see if they would consider allowing them Daryl. It can't be too easy to find good cores anymore. Pretty good case for allowing them. Heck, it is hard enough to find SBC stuff, some of the BOP stuff is getting rare.
