All races in S/SS in NHRA are a 128 car qualified field, max. So, other than Indy, everyone who shows gets to run first round.

You must not race national events because indy is the only 128 entry that can qualify the rest have a quota

We know that. It's the only race NHRA will TAKE more than 90-100 cars; hence it is the only true 'qualifying with a bump spot' field of the year. 1996 when I was at Maple Grove for the Keystones, 126 S/S cars showed (I don't know how may pre-entered); this year I think they only took 65. Divisional races are also a 128 car field, max, but anymore, 100-110 are the most that show, so they too become all-run. 15 years ago or so, I ran at more than one Div'l race that had DNQ's (Indy, E-town, Reading LODRS events). The Grove had 150-160 in 2005 or '06 when they ran a double race (made up a rained out Open and the regularly scheduled LODRS on the same weekend).

Do you race now because a lot has changed since then

No, I got out in 2007, tired of the crap (raced from 2000 to 2006). And yes, I know what's going on.

In regards to what? If you race, you should know. You seem obsessed with scales, getting tangled up, and Santa Claus based on most of your posts anymore.
