I've had good luck with Northern Radiator. They also have really nice kits with cooling fans, mounted on shrouds, with relays, that fit the radiator and the vehicle.

You might also check radiatorbarn.com
I have bought both copper and aluminum/plastic radiators from them with good results. Their one core aluminum cools better than the 3 core copper! |

Thanks guys for all the great input and leads! I just didn't want to run out and purchase a double whammy, throwdown, aftermarket, fabricated alum tank radiator, only to have an inspector tell me that it isn't " stock appearing". Plus I'm a little partial to having my car look correct. Thanks again. - JB -

Looks like I'll be putting my beater back together very soon. Will help to lose a few pounds from out on the front end. I don't think there will be a generic part for mine, but I'll come up with something.

A couple years ago was checking on radiators, they could get me all aluminum, the tanks looked like the tanks on copper/brass radiators, still had the grooves that stiffen them core looked like copper/brass core, looked identical except the tanks and core were welded together,if was'nt for the welds could have painted it black and passed it off as copper/brass radiator, was $80-100
I guess now would be legal Mike Taylor 3601 |

I bought a "Radiator Classic" aluminum radiator for my Plymouth Duster, it looks very much like the one I had and is 7 pounds lighter. There in Houston somewhere.
I bought it off Ebay and it cost $128.51 including shipping.

AND THE QUESTION STILL REMAINS ----- can you use any Alum radiator ? Or must it LOOK like the original factory installed radiator?
