Tony Romas is definitely a good choice, especially for ribs. I heard the light show in that area is really a sight to see. Sambas Brazilian Steakhouse in the Mirage was excellent as well. There is an Outback right on the Strip near the Flamingo which is always a good choice.

OK, OK, so I've never tried the $25.00 plus Buffet's. Guess that once I want to spend that much or more I'd rather have one of those $75 plus steak dinners. Now I am a sucker for the $2.99 shrimp ****tails, especially if you make sure they're made with fresh ****tail sauce and they don't skimp on the horseradish! Usually if you pay a buck or two extra you get the real shrimp and not those little popcorn doobers. Is that a word?
![]() If anybody knows Phil Painter (he is the event organizer / promoter for the Mopars at the Strip car show / race), ask him. He knows were all the best restaurants are. Or at least the best bang for the buck.

Thanks so much for the valued input, I will let this thread run it's course until Friday PM, then print it off and bring it with us.
The note about staying away from buffets unless 300# when looking for a bulk food value makes sense, especially when I think back to pretty much any buffet I've been to in my life, generally the spread looks great until it hits the plate and later the palet, many a time I've left stuffed and yet strangely unsatisfied. Plus, I'm working my way down to the low 200# range currently and need to avoid heading north to 300, since it's cheaper to go faster by weight loss rather than building more power hehe. I do like the idea of a 10 dollar sit down meal rather than dueling with a 400# fat man for mashed potatos at a 20 dollar buffet. ![]() |

The Buffet at Wynn's Casino Is to die for. Its not cheap about $35 But it worth every penny. If you sign up for a card and give them an email address they give you $10 free play(you just put $1 in), and you can earn a free buffet real easy(without spending anymore. I did it, my wife earn 2, and my motherinlaw earned one. Real easy to do on the nickel machines.
But even if you have to pay for it the food is that good.

I just spent half of the month in vegas and ate plenty!
Jerrys nugget on las vegas blvd is one of the best kept secrets in town, killer prime rib dinner for like 8 bucks! You would pay 20 bucks any other place and not complain. RIO has 2 buffets and the seafood buffet is like 45 bucks! the other buffet is around 20 and you have to try it while in town. Palms breakfast buffet under 10 bucks and awesome, dont go for dinner! Cannery hotel buffet killer and 11 bucks! GOOD LUCK |
